song professional violin
playing Cannon in D violin.?

when you hear professionals playing it or in like CDs.. or songs (cannon remixes choir songs, etc.)

the Violin Sound of Cannon seems really soft.. Do they use a special thing? Like a special mute?? Or are u just supposed to play with a mute?

Im not that much a violin player..just played it for 2years. Anyways when I play the cannon it doesnt seem that soft? Do i need to use a mute or something?

And what does a mute really do? I know it changes the sound but like when is it used?? Sounds like a elec-violin after putting the mute

No…no mute. You just need to play really soft. You can also play in 2nd, 3rd, ect position to make the notes sound softer not just volume wise, but in how they actually sound as well. This is what I do for slower songs. It really makes the notes sound beautiful. Also, open strings tend to sound harsher to the ear…so don’t use open strings. Good luck!
